Blog #11, Faster Climate Change Feared

 According to a new report led by the U.S Geological Survey, the United States faces much more rapid climate change by the end of the century than previous studies have shown. They predict that Climate shifts will happen by 2100 if drastic measures are not taken into action imediately. One of the most worrisome findings is that massive ice sheets continue to brake off which will lead to the seas rising over 4 feet by 2100.

Blog #10, Good times rolling on for Mardi Gras

Even though the economy is down, people are still going to be at Mardi Gras in high numbers. New Oreleans anticipates 700,000 to 800,000 people in the french part of New Oreleans during the festible. They believe that more people are going to be down there even though the economy is not doing well, because fat tuesday will be around the days of mardi gras, giving people more time, and money to plan their trip.
