Blog #9, Eight years in office, a $10.6 trillion debt

A report by David M. Dickson, stated what George W. Bush has done to this country over the past 8 years that he has been in office. Bush has nearly doubled the national debt during the past 8 years of being in office. During the Fiscal 2008, the national deb increased more than $1 trillion breaking the previous record by $600 billion. The national debt is not even at what it is about to be; as time goes on, it is going to get worse and worse. To give an example, during the first fiscal in 2009, the national debt was raising by $12 million per minute. It just shows what a crisis we are in right now.

Blog #8, The Engine Of A Green Machine

A man created an array of viechels that all run on biodiesel. Which reduces on greenhouse gases, and does not take much to change from a regular gas. And he has even converted a ford F-450, with a biodiesel engine, and fixed it with hydrogen tanks on the back to give it a little extra boost, and is still not putting nearly as much pollution into the air as if he would with a regular gas powered engine, and not to mention the fact that he is getting almost the 1/3 amount of horsepower more than what he would normally.

Blog #7, A Meal To Die For

Today, I read about a restaurant in Chandler AZ, called "Heart Attack Cafe". This restaurants name is truly what it is. Heart Attack Cafe serves the greases, fattest, most unhealthy meals you can possibly get, and for some reason people absolutly love the place. You are able to choose from a single, double, triple, and quadtrupal burger. There are no diet drinks, no light beers, and not even lettuce on the burger. A quadtrupal burger has 8000 calories, and is called the cardiac arrest burger.

Blog #2, SUBARU STI

The Subaru STI is a practical everyday car that you may see on the road every once and a while. But it does not show its true beauty of it. The STI first came out in 1999 as a rally car. Now Subaru has shifted to a completely different style to compete on more practical conditions. They went from a sports sedan style, to a hatchback, and raised there engine horsepower to 305 bhp, along with a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds. The new STI still is in major competition with its biggest rival, the lancer evo X, which still has the STI beat by a couple catagories.

Blog #1, Corvette ZR1

Today, I read in my Road and Track magazine, about how Rick Wagoner, chairman and CEO posed a question to GM. He questioned them that if it only took $59,995 to make the original Corvette Z06; What they could make with $100,000. They answered quickly with the Corvette ZR1. The ZR1 totally remade the Corvette. The GM team put in a 600 plus horsepower V8 engine, along with a 6.2 liter supercharger, which let the Z06 unleash over 220-MPH in a straight line. The Corvette Z06, was GM's most powerful car they have ever built, and has paved a path for others to follow.
