Blog #15, New Zealand police use Facebook to stop crime
In New Zealand yesterday, police arrested a burglar via facebook, after they posted pictures of him they got from and security camera inside. The man broke into a pub through the roof and was trying to work his way into the cash machine but couldn't seem to get it open. Just as he was about to leave, he looked around to make sure he had all of his stuff, and looked directly into a security camera. It is the first facebook arrest the Queenstown police have had. The police created a facebook account 2 months ago so that they could post any important news that they needed to get out since it is the number 1 used site. The robber is not faced with 2 burglary.

Blog #14, Pepsi Targeted for AFA Boycott
The AFA (American Family Association) as found a cultural war with Pepsi.co. The AFA is asking to boycott Pepsi for donating $1 million to the Human Rights Campaign and Parents, Family, and friends of gays and homosexuals. The AFA is unhappy with Pepsi because they donated to a group that may be involved with gays or homosexuals, which I believe is a rediculous argument, because first it is not for that much money, and second, why it a big deal if they donate to a Human Rights group?
